Rules for Grievance Processing. 18 It is agreed: 19 A. A grievance must be brought forward within fourteen (14) days after the 20 employee, through use of reasonable diligence, should have obtained 21 knowledge of the occurrence of the event giving rise to the grievance. 22 B. Time limits at any stage of the grievance procedure may be extended 23 by the written mutual agreement of the parties involved at that step. 24 C. A grievance not advanced to the higher step within the time limit 25 provided shall be deemed permanently withdrawn and as having been 26 settled on the basis of the decision most recently given.
