Common use of Sabbaticals Clause in Contracts

Sabbaticals. The University endorses sabbaticals as a means of encouraging continuous professional development and productive scholarship, which will be mutually beneficial to the academic staff member and the institution. A member may apply for, or the University may offer, a sabbatical. The University shall grant annually a limited number of sabbaticals in keeping with its responsibilities.
