SAFETY FOOTWEAR/PROTECTIVE CLOTHING a) Provision for Safety Footwear The employer must provide all employees with safety footwear. This footwear will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis. Employees issued with safety footwear must wear such footwear whilst at work. Safety footwear remains the property of the employer. If an employee (issued with safety footwear) leaves the company's employ within three months of their date of commencement, then their safety footwear must be returned, or the cost of the issued footwear will be deducted from any final payment.

  • Personal Protective Clothing 11.1 On commencement of employment with the Employer each employee will be issued with the following; • Two pairs of overalls or agreed alternative such as two shirts and two pairs of pants or jeans. • One pair of approved safety boots to the value of $75.00 increasing to a value of $80.00 from 1 July 2006, increasing to a value of $85.00 from 1 July 2009. • One bluey jacket or agreed equivalent (May to October).
