Protective Clothing and Equipment. The Employer shall provide and pay for all protective devices, clothing and other equipment necessary to properly protect employees from injury and unhealthy conditions. The Employer shall make provisions for the proper cleaning and maintenance of all safety equipment, devices and clothing at no cost to the employees.
Protective Clothing and Equipment. The Employer recognizes the safety concerns of all staff and shall provide all employees whose work requires them to wear protective equipment with the necessary equipment and protective clothing. This committee may make recommendations on such equipment (e.g., gloves, long sleeved gowns, masks, goggles). These shall be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at the Employer's expense. Where the committee recommends the wearing of such protective clothing and equipment, and the Employer implements such recommendation, employees are obligated to comply with such recommendation(s).
Protective Clothing and Equipment. 20.1 In accordance with the Health and Safety in Employment Act and associated Regulations, the Employer shall ensure that employees are provided with any protective equipment required to ensure the safety of employees while at work. The maintenance and replacement of this equipment is the responsibility of the Employer.
20.2 Suitable clean protective clothing shall be made available by the Employer where the nature of a particular duty or duties would either continuously or intermittently render an employee's personal clothing or uniform to excessive soiling or damage or expose the employee's person to injury or excessive discomfort through biological, chemical or physical hazards. Such protective clothing shall remain the property of the Employer and, as such, shall be laundered or otherwise cleaned free of charge.
20.3 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a specified uniform, or where the nature of the work requires the wearing of protective or work clothing, sufficient sets of the specified uniforms, protective or work clothing will be supplied to each employee and will subsequently be laundered and maintained by the employer. When such items are on personal issue to the employees, they are replaced by the employer subject to fair wear and tear in the service of the employer.
20.4 An employee may at the Employer's discretion be compensated for damage to personal clothing worn on duty, or reimbursed dry cleaning charges for excessive soiling to personal clothing worn on duty, provided the damage or soiling did not occur as a result of the employee's negligence or failure to wear the protective clothing provided.

Protective Clothing and Equipment. The University will provide all necessary protective devices, clothing, or equipment to the employee to ensure a safe work environment, according to Workers’ Compensation Board regulations. An employee who refuses to use or wear such devices or who fails to follow health and safety procedures will be subject to disciplinary procedures. The regulations with respect to the right to refuse unsafe work will be posted on the Internet, and copies will be provided to employees on request.
Protective Clothing and Equipment. (a) The Employer shall provide all employees working in any unsanitary or potentially hazardous job all necessary tools, protective clothing, footwear, and equipment required, including gloves, masks, helmets, safety glasses, coveralls, boots, and shoes.
(b) All such clothing, tools, equipment and footwear shall be maintained and replaced at the Employer's expense.
(c) All such clothing, tools, equipment, and footwear shall comply with applicable Workers' Compensation Board regulations concerning same.
Protective Clothing and Equipment a) The Employer shall provide such safety clothing and safety equipment as is required by the WCB Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
b) Staff shall be provided with gloves. All such clothing, tools, and equipment shall be maintained and replaced at the Employer's expense.
c) All such clothing, tools, and equipment shall comply with applicable Workers' Compensation Board regulations concerning same.
Protective Clothing and Equipment. Any necessary clothing and personal protective equipment will be provided by the Employer at the Employer's expense.
Protective Clothing and Equipment.
(1) The Company will issue to each Employee (other than a casual), upon commencement on the Project, the following protective clothing, equipment and footwear:
(a) one (1) pair of approved safety footwear;
(b) three (3) pairs of standard-issue long pants and six (6) standard-issue long sleeve shirts or alternatively, six (6) pairs of long sleeve overalls (Employee choice);
(c) one (1) safety helmet;
(d) one (1) pair of approved safety glasses (either tinted or non-tinted Employee choice). Employees with prescription glasses will be issued with mono-goggles or prescription safety glasses (Employee choice);
(e) The Company will also make available:
(i) sun-screen (SPF 50+) for personnel engaged in outside work;
(ii) hearing protection; and
(iii) gloves.
(2) Consistent with the instructions provided during the Site orientation and induction process, protective clothing and equipment must be worn correctly at all times and helmets must not be painted, drilled or modified in any way.
(3) Re-issue of the specified clothing shall be on the basis of fair wear and tear provided the worn out item is produced for replacement.
(4) Casual Employees shall be issued the same clothing issue as other Employees except that casual Employees will receive two pairs of pants/shirts or overalls.
(5) Employees who are engaged on the Site for longer than four weeks between 1 April and 31 August in any year shall be entitled to a one-off issue of a good quality work jacket. 9 WAGE RATES
