Common use of Salary Schedule Increment Clause in Contracts

Salary Schedule Increment. Present faculty members will advance one (1) step on the salary schedule for each future year of experience until such time as they will reach the top of their appropriate level. Faculty members, who begin work after January 1, 1988, will be credited, for salary schedule purposes, with one (1) year of credit for each two (2) years of related work experience and/or one (1) year of credit for each one (1) year of prior teaching experience not to exceed in the aggregate total of ten (10) years credit. For 2003–2004, the academic year will not be included for faculty advancement on the salary schedule, nor will said year be included at a future date.
