Common use of Salary Schedule Service Credit Clause in Contracts

Salary Schedule Service Credit. 21.4.1. All bargaining unit members who work or are on authorized paid leave under section 23.2 for 75% or more of the school year shall receive one year’s credit on the salary schedule. Bargaining unit members who work or are on paid leave under section 23.2 for less than 75% of the school year, shall be eligible to earn one year of service when the cumulative total is at least 1 full year, by June 30 of the previous year, e.g. a 60% employee earns a year of service after completing two years of part-time service. Such movement on the schedule only occurs at the start of a new school year.
