Schedule Board Meeting. The Board shall devote a portion of at least one meeting annually for discussion and evaluation of the performance and working relationship between the Executive Director/CEO and the Board. Every effort will be made to conduct this meeting by a date to be determined by the Board and the Executive Director/CEO. Such a meeting shall be conducted in closed session unless mutually agreed otherwise. Evaluations shall be based upon the mutually developed and agreed upon performance goals and objectives for that year’s evaluation. After reviewing the performance of the Executive Director/CEO based upon the agreed upon goals and objectives established for the school year, the Board shall notify the Executive Director/CEO in writing whether the Executive Director/CEO has performed, in the Board’s judgment, satisfactorily or unsatisfactorily.

The Superintendent, in consultation with the Board President, shall annually agendize the meeting during May or June. Such meeting shall be conducted in closed session, in accordance with the law, unless mutually agreed otherwise. Evaluations shall be based upon the mutually developed and agreed upon performance goals and objectives for that year’s evaluation. In addition, the Board and the Superintendent shall assess the quality and effectiveness of their working relationship. After reviewing the performance of the Superintendent based upon the agreed upon goals and objectives established for the school year, the Board shall notify the Superintendent in writing no later than June 30th of each year whether the Superintendent has performed, in the Board’s judgment, satisfactorily or unsatisfactorily. The Board’s failure to conduct an evaluation under this section shall not prevent the Board from terminating Superintendent’s employment if the Board determines, in its discretion, that such action is warranted.

  • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal.   • Notice of Board Meetings Notice of Board meetings shall be given by the Chair or the Chair’s designee to each other Board Member by overnight courier service, email or other electronic transmission, or personal delivery. Notices shall be deemed to have been given: if given by courier service, when deposited with a courier service for overnight delivery with charges therefor prepaid or duly provided for; if given email or other electronic transmission, at the time of sending; and if given by personal delivery, at the time of delivery.
