Schedule of Deduction Clause Samples

A Schedule of Deduction clause outlines the specific circumstances and amounts by which payments may be reduced under a contract. It typically lists various breaches, delays, or failures to meet agreed standards, along with the corresponding financial deductions that will be applied if these occur. By clearly specifying when and how deductions are made, this clause helps manage expectations, incentivizes compliance, and reduces disputes over payment adjustments.
