All Bargaining Unit Members. 8.1.1 Twice yearly, two and a half (2.5) hours each to attend MSA general meetings. Staff will not be given ‘time in lieu’ if they do not attend these meetings. MSA will notify Human Resources of the general meeting time and date sixty (60) calendar days prior to the event. 8.1.2 Periodically as required to attend and contribute to University approved committees as referenced in Article 7.0.8. a) Where membership on committees is selected by MSA, the affected OOS Manager will be notified by MSA when one of their employees is being considered as a representative. b) To accommodate participation, employees may be required to have schedule changes or modifications to hours. Such participation shall not generally attract overtime.

All Bargaining Unit Members. A) Retroactive to the pay period that includes August 16, 2017, the wages of all bargaining unit members shall be increased by 12 cents per hour. B) Effective with the pay period that includes August 16, 2018, the wages of all bargaining unit members shall be increased by 47 cents per hour. C) Effective with the pay period that includes August 16, 2019, the wages of all bargaining unit members shall be increased by 12 cents per hour. D) Retroactive to the pay period that includes August 16, 2017, bargaining unit members who became a bargaining unit member on or after August 16, 2011, shall be placed at the wage rate on the step schedule in Exhibit 1 closest to their years of service at the time of placement unless the bargaining unit member’s wage rate at the time of ratification of this Agreement exceeds the corresponding step on the step schedule, in which case, the bargaining unit member shall be placed at a wage rate in Exhibit 1 on the bargaining unit member’s anniversary date only if/when the wage rate on the step schedule exceeds the bargaining unit member’s wage rate at the time of ratification of this Agreement. E) Retroactive to the pay period that includes August 16, 2017, bargaining unit members who became a bargaining unit member prior to August 16, 2011, whose wage rate is less than the maximum (Step 3) rate shall be placed at the Step 3 rate at the time of ratification of this Agreement.
All Bargaining Unit Members. The District shall provide the information in section 7.1 for all bargaining unit members (both union members and non-union members) on or before October 31 of each year. Updated information shall be provided to the Association upon request. The District will withhold addresses of unit members who so request.
All Bargaining Unit Members. A) From August 16, 2020, through December 5, 2020, bargaining unit members will be paid at the furlough rates provided for in the Memorandum of Understanding ACE COVID-19 Cost Reductions (MOU) entered into by the parties on May 21, 2020 (see attached Appendix J). B) The MOU (see attached Appendix J) is being modified as follows: 1. Effective with the pay period that includes December 6, 2020, wages will be restored to pre-MOU hourly rates. 2. Between July 6, 2020, and October 12, 2020, seven (7) fixed furlough days were observed. Bargaining unit members may use seven (7) additional floating furlough days on or before December 31, 2020, for a maximum of fourteen (14) aggregate furlough days. 3. Effective with the ratification date of this Agreement, the MOU (see attached Appendix J) will be null and void. C) Through the end of June 30, 2021, the provisions of Article 20 Classifications and Position Audits will be held in abeyance, except as provided in this section. During this time period, the University will assign work within a bargaining unit employee’s position classification or of a lower classification. If a bargaining unit employee believes that they are performing duties which do not properly fall within their position classification, the bargaining unit employee shall contact the ACE President. If the ACE President has a bona fide good faith belief that the bargaining unit employee is performing duties which do not properly fall within their position classification, the ACE President shall contact Human Resources Organizational Development to discuss the matter. If the parties cannot resolve the dispute, the dispute will be resolved by an Audit Appeal Committee composed of the ACE President or their designee, the Chief Human Resources Officer or their designee, and the Vice President of Finance and Administration or their designee. D) Effective with the pay period that includes August 16, 2021, the wages of all bargaining unit members shall be increased by 1.25%. E) Effective with the pay period that includes August 16, 2022, the wages of all bargaining unit members shall be increased by 1% and the wages of all bargaining unit members shall be increased by 23 cents per hour.
All Bargaining Unit Members d.1 All bargaining unit members who have exhausted their sick leave are eligible for a three (3) day advance beyond earned sick leave. This advance will be given upon written request submitted to the Superintendent a maximum of three (3) times during their employment with Fairfield Local Schools. d.2 All advanced sick leave shall be repaid by earned sick leave before additional advances are made. d.3 Should an employee exhaust accumulated sick leave and sick leave advance, payment shall be docked at his/her daily rate of pay. d.4 If an employee terminates employment with a sick leave advance balance, those days shall be deducted from his/her final pay.

The Board will pay toward expenses for such employees attending workshops or seminar type meetings provided such meetings are approved by the Superintendent and the Board. There will be no loss of pay to the employee attending such meetings. 2. Employees will be given in-service increments of $100.00 to be carried over and above the annual salary for each successfully completed ninety (90) hours of class instruction. The employee will be able to earn a maximum of five (5) $100.00 increments. 3. Prior to enrolling in the in-service training program, the employee is requested to notify the Superintendent of the in-service program to be selected so that the Superintendent may determine if the selected program would benefit the employee and the school system.

All Bargaining Unit Members. A) Effective with the pay period that includes August 16, 2014, the wages of all bargaining unit members shall be frozen at their current step for the duration of this agreement. B) Effective with the pay period that includes August 16, 2014, bargaining unit members will not receive an annual step adjustment for the duration of this agreement. C) The following provision shall be deferred for the life of this agreement: Bargaining unit members previously on the 2005-08 A/B salary schedule who have steps remaining under that contract, as of August 15, 2014, shall receive an additional step adjustment of two steps on the new schedule for each step remaining on the previous schedule. Such step adjustments will be in addition to the regular annual step increase identified in (B) above, and will be administered annually in the year he/she would have received the step adjustment effective under the 2005-08 labor agreement effective with the pay period that includes the anniversary of the labor agreement. Such increases will continue annually until such bargaining unit member either exhausts the steps he/she would have been entitled to under the “old” A/B salary schedule, or such member is promoted or reclassified.
All Bargaining Unit Members. 1. All Bargaining Unit Members shall be offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis B vaccine at no cost to the member. Any member waiving such right shall be required to sign the Board developed waiver form. 2. The Board will ensure that protective aids such as approved gloves and sealable plastic bags are readily available for use by members should the need arise.
All Bargaining Unit Members. Section 1 Any previously adopted policy, rule or regulation of the Board of Education which is in conflict with this Agreement shall be superseded and replaced by this Agreement.
