Scheduling Vacations. On or after December 1st of each year employees will be called upon to indicate preference for vacation time for the following year in the department in which they are established or to which they have moved having been accepted on a job posting. Employees who do not indicate preference in vacation time when called upon to do so shall be scheduled by the Company after all other employees have indicated their preference. The operational requirements shall govern vacation schedules, but preference shall be given to employees in accordance with bargaining unit seniority where vacation periods requested conflict. The vacation schedules for the department shall be posted on or before February 1st of each year, but shall be subject to changes made necessary by operational problems or personal requests.
