School Bus Operations.
(a) Prohibitions. The Recipient agrees that neither it nor any Third Party Participant that is participating in its Award will engage in school bus operations exclusively for the transportation of students or school personnel in competition with private school bus operators, except as permitted by federal transit laws, 49 U.S.C. § 5323(f) or (g), FTA regulations, “School Bus Operations,” 49 CFR Part 605, and any other applicable federal “School Bus Operations” laws, regulations, requirements, or applicable federal guidance.
School Bus Operations. Pursuant to 69 U.S.C. 5323(f) and 49 CFR Part 605, recipients and subrecipients of FTA assistance may not engage in school bus operations exclusively for the transportation of students and school personnel in competition with private school bus operators unless qualified under specified exemptions. When operating exclusive school bus service under an allowable exemption, recipients and subrecipients may not use federally funded equipment, vehicles, or facilities.
School Bus Operations. Applicability: Operational service contracts. Pursuant to 49 USC 5323(f) and 49 CFR part 605, Contractor and any of its subcontractors shall not engage in school bus operations exclusively for transportation of students and school personnel in competition with private school bus operators unless permitted under specified exemptions. When operating exclusive school bus service under an allowable exemption, Contractor and any of its subcontractors shall not use federally funded equipment, vehicles, or facilities.
School Bus Operations. Except as FTA determines otherwise in writing, the Recipient understands and agrees that:

Part 605, the Contractor may not engage in school bus operations exclusively for the transportation of students and school personnel in competition with private school bus operators unless qualified under specified exemptions. When operating exclusive school bus service under an allowable exemption, the Contractor may not use federally funded equipment, vehicles, or facilities.
School Bus Operations. Pursuant to 49 U.S.C. 5323(F) and 49 CFR Part 605, the CONTRACTOR agrees that it and all its subcontractors will: (1) engage in school transportation operations in competition with private school transportation operators only to the extent permitted by an exception provided by 49 U.S.C. 5323 (f) and implementing regulations, and (2) comply with requirements of 49 CFR part 605 before providing any school transportation using equipment or facilities acquired with Federal assistance awarded by FTA and authorized by 49 U.S.C. Chapter 53 or Title 23 U.S.C. for transportation projects. The CONTRACTOR understands that the requirements of 49 CFR part 605 will apply to any school transportation it provides, that the definitions of 49 CFR part 605 apply to any school transportation agreement, and a violation of this Agreement may require corrective measures and the imposition of penalties, including debarment from the receipt of further Federal assistance for transportation.
School Bus Operations. The School Bus requirements apply to the following type of Contract: Operational Service Contracts greater than $3,000. Pursuant to 69 U.S.C. 5323(f) and 49 CFR Part 605, recipients and sub-recipients of FTA assistance may not engage in school bus operations exclusively for the transportation of students and school personnel in competition with private school bus operators unless qualified under specified exemptions. When operating exclusive school bus service under an allowable exemption, recipients and sub-recipients may not use federally funded equipment, vehicles, or facilities.
School Bus Operations. 39.1. Pursuant to 20 ILCS 2705/2705-605(f), Grantee agrees not to engage in school bus operations exclusively for the transportation of students and school bus personnel in competition with private school bus operators where such private school bus operators are able to provide adequate transportation at reasonable rates, in conformance with applicable safety standards. However, this requirement shall not apply if Grantee operates a school system in the locality and operates a separate and exclusive school bus program for the school system. Grantee's certification regarding school bus operations is signed and attached to this Agreement as Part Three Attachment 1.
School Bus Operations. Call out pay for School Bus Operators, including Standby School Bus Operators will be at a minimum of one and three-quarters hours of pay for the morning and afternoon runs and one and one half (1 hours pay for noon runs. School bus Operators, when called out to drive a will be guaranteed a minimum of one (1) hour pay. If additional school bus work becomes available noon runs or work due to early dismissal), the work shall be dispatched on the basis of seniority, to the regular run Operators first, then to those Standby School Bus Operators working that day. School Bus Operators who sign for regular runs will be guaranteed three and one half (3 hours per day on all days worked. In the event that part of the School Bus Operator's daily work is cancelled or if the School Bus Operator only has one (1) run, the School Bus Operator will be offered alternate work within the limits of the hours of the School Bus Operator’s regular scheduled work. This alternate work could include specials, bus cleaning, etc. Should the School Bus Operator decline the alternate work the Operator‘s daily guarantee will be reduced accordingly.
School Bus Operations. Contractor agrees to comply with 69 U.S.C. 5323(f) and 49 C.F.R. Part 605, which provide that recipients and subrecipients of FTA assistance may not engage in school bus operations exclusively for the transportation of students and school personnel in competition with private school bus operators unless qualified under specified exemptions. When operating exclusive school bus service under an allowable exemption, Contractor agrees not to use federally funded equipment, vehicles, or facilities. Contractor agrees to include provisions to this effect in to include these requirements in all subcontracts issued pursuant to the Contract when the subcontract may involve school bus operations.
