Common use of School Cancellations Clause in Contracts

School Cancellations. If scheduled instructional days are cancelled due to inclement weather or other conditions which make it impractical to hold classes, employees will be compensated at their daily rate of pay for the first four (4) of these days that occur. All make up days will be without additional compensation, except for time card employees.

If scheduled instructional days are cancelled due to inclement weather or other conditions which make it impractical to hold classes, employees full and part time employee’s will be compensated at their daily rate of pay for the first three (3) of these days that occur in the 2006-07 and 2007- 08 school years, and for the first four (4) of these days that occuroccur for the 2008- 09 school year. All make up days will be without additional compensation, except for time card employees.
