XXXXX goes beyond the current state of the art to offer a novel and agile cyber-risk management framework for modern ICT systems. The integrated approach to control mitigating activities will address cyber-security threats and their consequences in critical information infrastructure and empower decision makers in public and private organisations to assess cyber-risk effectively.

The Innovation Action delivered by WISER is dual. On the one hand, it aims to bring to the attention of the wider audience the various aspects entailed by cyber security. On the other hand, it aims to present to SMEs and other organisations, private as well as public, a set of services that demonstrate how risk management methodologies and solutions can effectively represent practical solutions to improve cyber security in various industries. WISER provides a cyber risk management framework able to assess, monitor and suggest mitigation measures in real time. The WISER risk assessment approach focuses not only at the level of a given ICT system, but also considering the business processes or services that depend on it. It also considers the societal impact of risk and helps to determine the most appropriate mitigation action(s). WISER intends to address cybersecurity needs of different users as different systems varies in size and complexity. For this reason the Consortium identified a service delivery model based on three different modes of operation: CyberWISER Light, CyberWISER Essential, and CyberWISER Plus.
