Common use of Seasonal Part-Time Clause in Contracts

Seasonal Part-Time. A seasonal position normally less than equivalent to eight (E) Number of work days in month or pay period. Number of possible work days in the month or pay period based on the employee’s weekly work schedule, such as Monday - Friday, Tuesday - Saturday, etc.. Holidays that fall within the employee’s work schedule are counted as work days for that month or pay period. (F) Hourly rates of pay. The hourly equivalent of the monthly base rates of pay as published in the Compensation Plan. The hourly rates are computed by dividing the monthly salary by 173.33. (G) Partial month’s pay. A prorated monthly or pay period salary. The number of hours actually worked by an employee divided by the total number of possible hours in the month or pay period based on the work schedule, times the full monthly or pay period salary rate. For example, if the employee works 115 hours in a month or pay period with a possible work schedule of 121 hours, the partial month’s pay is computed as follows:
