Section 5. Recall Rights. A nurse having been laid off shall have recall rights for 14 the same or lesser classification within the job family for a period of one (1) year 15 [both part-time and full-time positions] as long as the nurse is able to perform the 16 work in the position without extensive training.

  • Recall Rights 12.1 The parties agree that Local boards will increase the length of time contained in their local collective agreements providing rights to recall by an additional two (2) years.

  • Layoff and Recall Rights Seniority lists and layoff and recall rights for full-time employees shall be separate from seniority lists and layoff and recall rights for part-time employees, subject to Article 11.04 (1) (d), (e) and (g).

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion. They may consult with the District 20 on complaints without a grievance being made by an individual employee.

  • Section 4.5 16 The President of the Association and designated representatives will be provided time off without loss 17 of pay to a maximum of ten (10) days per year to attend regional or State meetings when the purpose 18 of those meetings is in the best interests of the District as determined by the District administration; the 19 association shall reimburse the District for the cost of substitutes if needed and any other cost 20 associated with the Association activity. There will be no punitive actions on evaluations or negative 21 verbal or written repercussions for the use of time off as provided in this section.

  • Section 4.3 30 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein to 31 appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington State Organization. 32

  • Section 7.2 30 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite and regular shift and workweek, which shall not be changed 31 without prior notice to the employee of two (2) calendar weeks. In the event of extenuating or unusual 32 circumstances, the employee may be given another assignment to be worked during their regularly 33 scheduled shift with less than the two (2) week notification. This notice may be waived by the employee.

  • Section 7.4 24 In the event an employee is assigned to a shift less than the normal work shift previously defined in 25 this Article, the employee shall be given a fifteen (15) minute rest period for each four (4) hours of 26 work.

  • Section 7.3 42 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite shift with designated times of beginning and ending.
