TIME POSITIONS. Section 1. A part time teacher is defined as any properly licensed teacher performing part time duties and excluding long term substitutes.
Section 2. Teachers with no prior full time contract with District 876 must make application for any additional hours as they become available, and will be considered with all other applicants for those hours at a full time position as they become available.
Subd. 1. A teacher with a prior full time contract would be entitled to any additional hours or full time position in the District if they are licensed for them.
Section 3. Fringe benefits are subject to the provisions of Article VIII, Section 8.
Section 4. Part time teachers shall be eligible for paid absences as defined in Article IX on a pro-rated basis as determined by the percentage of their contract.
Section 5. Part time teachers shall be eligible for leaves of absence as defined in Article IX.
Section 6. Part time teachers shall be paid according to the following payment structure.
TIME POSITIONS. The work week for all full-time staff shall be forty (40) hours per week (Food), and thirty-seven point five (37.5) hours per week (Non-Food) during the peak season. During the peak season, Non-Food staff may be scheduled up to forty (40) hours per week based on business needs. During the off-season, the minimum hours shall be thirty-five (35) hours per week for both. Full-time positions shall be established in accordance with the available hours language in the Collective Agreement, to a maximum of: Meat one (1) Produce one (1) General Clerk two (2) Clerk Cashier three (3) Non-Food Clerks one (1) Bakery/ Deli two (2) Office one (1) File Maintenance one (1) It is agreed, subject to seniority requirements of the Collective Agreement, that benefits shall be maintained for full-time staff during the off-season. Full-time to mean forty (40) hours per week all year around. There will be no ATO with this position. No seniority will be lost as a result of the change. The start date of the replacement Meat Manager will become the effective date. The wage rate will be as per the Collective Agreement. TIME POSITIONS. Once it is determined by the Committee to reduce a full-time position to a part-time position, the following will take place:
1. The position will first be offered to the incumbent.
2. If the incumbent declines the position, a job description will be posted and qualified applicants will be sought within the system.
3. If, after interviews, no qualified and certified teacher is found to transfer into the position, the position will be posted outside the system.
4. If no certified and qualified applicants can be found outside the system, the position will be filled by the original applicant(s) using the following as criteria: area(s) of certification, major or minor, graduate work completed in the field, teacher evaluations, course/grade level experience, attendance history, and teaching experience outside the Clinton Public School System.

The Employer recognizes the need to maintain full time and temporary full time positions within the following “staff model” homes and “staff model” programs where staff support is provided on a shift basis: Headon Residence and Headon House Pinecove and Day Services Supported Independent Living Program

If the member is not scheduled during forty hours does not have to be available.

If scheduling restrictions are exercised, then for the period of restriction the guaranteed hours shall be offered to the next senior co-worker. TIME POSITIONS. The Parties acknowledge that: Effective upon ratification of this renewal Collective Agreement, the thresholds outlined for part- time and full-time employees in Article 3.01 shall be amended so that part-time employees will now be entitled to work for more than thirteen and one-third (13-1/3) hours and less than thirty-two (32) hours per week, and full-time employees shall be entitled to work an average of thirty-two (32) hours or more per week as a result of their status; and
TIME POSITIONS. The Employer will maintain a minimum total of positions. The Employer may change the number of full-time employees in each of the above programs and homes, but the minimum total of full-time employees will be or more. Preschool positions will remain at the current level of full-time position equivalents. The total number of full-time employees includes Support Workers, Awake Night Support Workers and Night Support Workers.
