Section 7. On Call. An employee shall be in an on-call status if the employee's supervisor has 2 instructed the employee, in writing, to remain available to work during an off duty period. An 3 employee who is instructed to be in an on-call status is not required to remain in a fixed location, 4 but must leave word where he or she may be reached by telephone or by an electronic signaling 5 device.
