Section 7 – Opt-Out. ‌ 2 The Hospital will offer an opt-out payment in the amount of one hundred 3 dollars ($100.00) per month, subject to applicable taxes and withholdings, for 4 employees who voluntarily choose to opt-out of the Hospital provided 5 medical/dental/vision insurance plan and who meet the following conditions. 6 To be entitled to receive the opt-out payment, the eligible employee must 7 notify the Hospital in writing on the benefits enrollment form of his/her 8 decision to opt-out during the open enrollment period for the Hospital 9 provided medical/dental/vision insurance plan. In addition, before the close of 10 the open enrollment period, the eligible employee must provide the Hospital 11 with information in writing certifying that the employee and the employee’s 12 spouse and dependents have valid health insurance coverage.

  • Section 6.2 13 The Association representatives may represent the Association and employees in meeting with officials 14 of the District to discuss appropriate matters of mutual interest. They may receive and investigate to 15 conclusion complaints or grievances of employees on District time and thereafter advise employees of 16 rights and procedures outlined in this Agreement and applicable regulations or directives for resolving 17 the grievances or complaints. They may not, however, continue to advise the employee on courses of 18 action after the employee has indicated a desire not to pursue a grievance. This does not, however, 19 preclude the Association's right to pursue the matter to conclusion.
