Section Interpretation. This section shall not be interpreted to restrict the Sheriff’s authority to make any training assignment for which compensation is not required by this section.
Section Interpretation. In this Agreement:
Section Interpretation. In the event of a conflict between any term or requirement of this [Title/Chapter], the Take Permits, the Yolo HCP/NCCP, and the Implementing Agreement, the term or requirement of the Take Permits shall govern.
Section Interpretation. The Board of Trustees will decide all questions arising on matters of operation, administration and interpretation of the Plan and their decision will be binding on both parties.

In this Agreement, the singular includes the plural and the plural includes the singular; words implying any gender include the other genders; references to any section, exhibit or schedule are to sections, exhibits or schedules hereto unless otherwise indicated; references to statutes are to be construed as including all statutory provisions consolidating, amending or replacing the statute referred to; references to "writing" include printing, typing, lithography and other means of reproducing words in a visible form; "including" following a word or phrase shall not be construed to limit the generality of such word or phrase; and an accounting term not otherwise defined has the meaning assigned to it in accordance with GAAP as in effect from time to time.
Section Interpretation. When a reference is made in this Agreement to an Article, Section, Schedule or Exhibit, such reference shall be to an Article or Section of, or an Exhibit to, this Agreement unless otherwise indicated. The table of contents and headings contained in this Agreement are for reference purposes only and shall not affect in any way the meaning or interpretation of this Agreement. Whenever the words "include," "includes" or "including" are used in this Agreement, they shall be deemed to be followed by the phrase "without limitation." The words "hereof," "herein" and "hereunder" and words of similar import when used in this Agreement shall refer to this Agreement as a whole and not to any particular provision of Agreement. The phrase "made available" in this Agreement shall mean that the information referred to has been made available if requested by the party to whom such information is to be made available. The phrases "the date of this Agreement" and "the date hereof," and phrases of similar import, unless the context otherwise requires, shall be deemed to refer to the date first above written. All terms defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings when used in any certificate or other document made or pursuant hereto unless otherwise defined therein. The definitions in this Agreement are applicable to the singular as well as plural forms of such terms and to the masculine as well as the feminine and neuter genders of such term. Any agreement, or statute defined or referred to herein or in any agreement instrument that is referred to herein means such agreement, instrument or statute as from time to time amended, modified or supplemented, including (in the case of agreements or instruments) by waiver or consent and (in the case of statutes) by succession of comparable successor statutes and references to all attachments thereto and instruments incorporated therein. References to a person are also to its permitted successors and assigns.
Section Interpretation. When a reference is made in this Agreement to Articles or Sections, such reference shall be to a Section or Article of this Agreement unless otherwise indicated. Whenever the words "include," "includes" or "including" are used in this Agreement they shall be deemed to be followed by the words "without limitation." The Article and Section headings contained in this Agreement are solely for the purpose of reference, are not part of the agreement of the parties and shall not in any way affect the meaning or interpretation of this Agreement.
Section Interpretation. The parties hereto have participated jointly in the negotiation and drafting of this Agreement. Consequently, in the event that an ambiguity or question of intent or interpretation arises, this Agreement shall be construed as if drafted jointly by the parties hereto, and no presumption or burden of proof shall arise favoring or disfavoring any party by virtue of the authorship of any provision of this Agreement.
