SENIORITY CREDIT - PART-TIME SERVICE. A teacher shall acquire one (1) year of seniority for each year of full-time continuous employment in the District provided he/she has been employed for ninety-one (91) days or more. Ninety (90) or less days shall equal one-half (1/2) year of seniority provided the teacher is employed forty-five (45) days or more. Less than forty-five (45) days will result in no seniority. A teacher shall not receive more than one (1) year seniority for any given school year. Teachers who are on paid leaves of absences as included in this Agreement or as otherwise approved by the Board, shall continue to acquire seniority. Such leaves will not constitute a break in service. Teachers who are on unpaid leaves of absences as included in this Agreement or otherwise approved by the Board will not acquire seniority during the time they are on leave. The years of experience gained prior to the leave of absence will not be removed from the employee's seniority position. A part-time teacher regularly employed with contract of specific hours not equal to full work week or a teacher who is reduced to less than full- time, either at the teacher's request or by action of the Board, shall acquire a fraction of a year's seniority according to the following:

  • Bereavement Leave (a) Upon the death of an employee's spouse, spouse to include same sex partner, child or stepchild, an employee shall be granted leave up to a maximum of five (5) continuous calendar days without loss of pay. One of the days of leave shall include the day of the funeral or equivalent service. Additional days off with or without pay may be granted by the Employer. Part-time employees will be credited with seniority and service for all such leave. In the event of a delayed interment or ceremony for reason of religion or other protected grounds under the Ontario Human Rights Code, an Employee may save one of the days identified above without loss of pay to attend the interment or ceremony.

  • Sick Leave The employee is eligible for long term disability benefits if provided for in the Collective Agreement. An employee will not receive pay for the first two (2) weeks of any period of absence due to a legitimate illness. The employee may utilize the paid holiday bank as income replacement for absences due to illness, as described in Article (c) above. An employee who is eligible may apply for Employment Insurance for weeks three (3) through seventeen (17) for any absence due to a legitimate illness. The Home will provide the employee with Disability Income Protection as per Article 14.01 (c) for weeks eighteen (18) through thirty (30) for any absence due to a legitimate illness. Employees may be required to provide medical proof of illness for any absence of a scheduled shift, which is neither vacation nor an approved leave of absence.

  • Dimensions Education Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 7 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments performing networkplanning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software) and optimization.

  • Insurance The Company and the Subsidiaries are insured by insurers of recognized financial responsibility against such losses and risks and in such amounts as are prudent and customary in the businesses in which the Company and the Subsidiaries are engaged, including, but not limited to, directors and officers insurance coverage. Neither the Company nor any Subsidiary has any reason to believe that it will not be able to renew its existing insurance coverage as and when such coverage expires or to obtain similar coverage from similar insurers as may be necessary to continue its business without a significant increase in cost.

  • Independent Contractor The Contractor and its employees, agents, representatives, and subcontractors are independent contractors and not employees or agents of the State of Florida and are not entitled to State of Florida benefits. The Department and Customer will not be bound by any acts or conduct of the Contractor or its employees, agents, representatives, or subcontractors. The Contractor agrees to include this provision in all its subcontracts under the Contract.

  • Term The term of this Agreement will be ten (10) years from the Effective Date (as such term may be extended pursuant to Section 4.2, the “Term”).

  • Services FASC agrees to provide to the Adviser the services indicated in Exhibit A to this Agreement (the “Services”).

  • Termination This Agreement may be terminated at any time prior to the Closing:

  • Introduction The Texas Health and Human Services Commission ("HHSC") and the Contractor named in Section I (HHSC and Contractor may be referenced in this document collectively as the “Parties” and individually as the “Party") hereby enter into this Community Services Contract - Provider Agreement (the “Contract”) for the provision of services under the Contract type specified in Section I for the considerations set forth herein. The Contract Begin Date specified in Section I is not valid until this Contract is signed by both parties.

  • Survival The representations and warranties contained herein shall survive the Closing and the delivery of the Securities.
