Seniority Definition. (a) Company Seniority shall mean length of continuous service with the Employer. (b) Full-time employee, for the purpose of seniority, shall mean an employee who has worked an average of thirty-six (36) hours per week during a thirteen (13) consecutive week period. All other employees will be considered part-time. (c) Part-time employees shall proceed to full-time status according to their rights under the Collective Agreement. (d) For purposes of clarification, any employee who moves from one classification to another classification under the terms of the collective agreement will retain their full seniority.

Seniority Definition. (a) Company Seniority shall mean be defined as the length of continuous the employee's service within the bargaining unit, prorated for regular part time employees, during their current period of employment with the Employer, reduced for unpaid leaves of absence (excluding FMLA and approved time off) and layoffs of 30 days or longer. Employees who are employed on the same date in the bargaining unit shall be placed on the seniority list by date and time of application. For purposes of vacation and longevity, the length of service shall be determined by the employee's last date of hire with the Employer.
