Common use of Seniority Retained and Accumulated Clause in Contracts

Seniority Retained and Accumulated. An Employee’s seniority and service shall be retained and accumulated when an employee is absent from work in the following circumstances: (a) while on approved leave of absence without pay for thirty (30) days or less; (b) while absent due to layoff for a period of twenty-four (24) calendar months; (c) while in receipt of employer paid sick leave benefits;

An Employee’s seniority and service Seniority shall be retained and accumulated when an employee is absent from work in the following circumstances: (a) while on approved leave of absence without pay for thirty (30) days or less; (b) while absent due to layoff in receipt of sick leave benefits; (c) when in receipt of UNUM benefits as a result of injury or illness incurred while in the employment of the Employer for a period of twenty-four (24) calendar months; (UNUM outstanding) (d) while on pregnancy or parental leave; (ce) while in receipt on Union leave of employer paid sick leave benefits;one (1) year or less.

An Employee’s seniority and service Seniority shall be retained and accumulated when an employee Employee is absent from work in the following circumstances: (a) while when on approved leave of absence without pay for thirty (30) days or less;with pay.
