Separation Procedures. a. The health benefits of a teacher who leaves employment by resignation will remain in effect through the last day of the month of the departing teacher’s last pay period. b. The health benefits of a teacher who leaves employment due to retirement will remain in effect through the last day of the teacher’s contract, or official date of retirement, whichever is earlier. c. Any overpayment of premiums by the employee, due to advance payment of premiums, will be reimbursed.
