SERVICE MEMBERS CIVIL RELIEF ACT. If, during the term of this lease, Tenant enters military service or, if during military service the Tenant receives military orders for a permanent change of station or to deploy with a military unit for a period of not less than 90 days, Tenant may Terminate this lease by delivery of a written notice and a copy of the military orders. Tenant must immediately deliver written notice to Landlord upon receipt of military orders, change of station or deployment orders or letter. The termination will be effective 30 days after the first date on which the next rental payment is due after the notice is delivered. This paragraph is intended to comply with the Service members Civil Relief Act (SCRA). In the event of a conflict between this paragraph and the SCRA, the SCRA shall prevail. In the event modifications to the SCRA invalidate portions of this lease, the lease shall be interpreted so as to be in compliance with the SCRA

Liquidated damages for making a false representation of the above will be the amount of unpaid Rent for the remainder of the Lease term when and if You move out, less rents from others received in mitigation. You must immediately notify Us if You are called to active duty or receive deployment or permanent change-of station orders.

SERVICE MEMBERS CIVIL RELIEF ACT a service member leasing an apartment before entering the military has the legal right under this act to terminate the lease under the following circumstances (50 U.S.C.A. § 3955): A. At any time after the renter’s entry into military service; or B. The service member, while in military service, executes the lease and thereafter receives military orders for a permanent change of station outside of the continental United States or to deploy with a military unit for a period of not less than 90 days.
SERVICE MEMBERS CIVIL RELIEF ACT. The Borrower has not notified Seller, and Seller has no knowledge, of any relief requested or allowed to the Borrower under the Service Members Civil Relief Act of 2003.

This paragraph is intended to comply with the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). In the event of a conflict between this paragraph and the SCRA, the SCRA shall prevail. In the event modifications to the SCRA invalidate portion of this lease, the lease shall be interpreted so as to be in compliance with the SCRA.

  • TITLE VI OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964 The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. No person shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

  • Civil Penalty ORLY shall issue two separate checks for a total amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) as penalties pursuant to California Health & Safety Code § 25249.12 as follows: (a) one check made payable to the State of California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) in the amount of three hundred and seventy five dollars ($375.00), representing 75% of the total penalty; and (b) one check to Xxxx Xxxxxxx in the amount of one hundred and twenty five dollars ($125.00), representing 25% of the total penalty. Additionally, two separate 1099’s shall be issued for the above payments. The first 1099 shall be issued to OEHHA, PO Box 4010, Sacramento, CA 95184 (EIN: 00-0000000) in the amount of $375.00. The second 1099 shall be issued in the amount of $125.00 to Xxxx Xxxxxxx be addressed to Xxxx Xxxxxxx C/O Xxxxxx X. Xxxxxxxx, Law Corporation and shall be delivered to Xxxxxx X. Xxxxxxxx, Law Corporation, 0000 X. Xxxxxxxxx, #649, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. At ORLY's request, Xxxxxxx'x counsel shall provide ORLY with a W-9 for Xxxxxxx prior to the Effective Date.
