Common use of Service Outside the Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Service Outside the Bargaining Unit. A nurse who works for the Medical Center in a position outside the bargaining unit and then returns to a bargaining unit position within twelve (12) months (without a break in service) will be given credit for his/her previously accrued seniority. Such a nurse will not be required to complete another probationary period upon return to a position within the bargaining unit.

Service Outside the Bargaining Unit. A nurse who works for the 24 Medical Center in a position outside the bargaining unit and then returns to a bargaining 25 unit position within twelve (12) months (without a break in service) will be given credit 26 for his/her previously accrued seniority. Such a nurse will not be required to complete 27 another probationary period upon return to a position within the bargaining unit.

A nurse who works for the Medical 10 Center in a position outside the bargaining unit and then returns to a 11 bargaining unit position within twelve (12) months (without a break in service) 12 will be given credit for his/her previously accrued seniority. Such a nurse will 13 not be required to complete another probationary period upon return to a 14 position within the bargaining unit.

Such a nurse will 20 not be required to complete another probationary period upon return to a 21 position within the bargaining unit.
