Common use of Shift Differential Clause in Contracts

Shift Differential. Section 1. An employee whose work shift consisting of 7.5 or 8 work hours on a scheduled work day begins before 6:00 a.m. or at or after 12:00 noon will be paid a shift differential of $1.00 per hour for all such hours worked on that shift.

Employees working on shifts which include four (4) or more hours worked on that shiftof work between 11 p.m. and 7 am. will receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1.00) per hour worked.
