Common use of Short Term Disability Clause in Contracts

Short Term Disability. The University shall provide full-time employees a short-term disability insurance for those absences caused by illness or injury for a period longer than 160 working hours and less than six (6) months, subject to the conditions as stated in the master insurance policy.

Short Term Disability. The University shall continue to provide regular full-time employees a staff members with short-term disability insurance for those absences caused by illness or injury for a period longer than 160 working hours twenty (20) days and less than six (6) months, subject to the conditions as stated of the master policy. The benefit formula in the master insurance policypolicy (75% of the base weekly rate, no maximum) shall not be reduced for the term of this Agreement.
