Common use of Short-Term Educational Restrictions Clause in Contracts

Short-Term Educational Restrictions. Employees shall be permitted to schedule a day off each week without pay if taking a regularly scheduled educational program on a certain day (e.g., Saturday off if attending classes on Saturday), without loss of seniority or benefits. The employee must provide the Employer with fourteen (14) calendar days written notice requesting such leave. The Employer will make every reasonable effort to provide short-term educational leave subject to operational requirements.
