Short Term Illness and Injury Program. (STIIP)‌ SMS employees will pay 100% of short term disability premiums effective July 1, 2013. All eligible Employees must participate in the program. Note: SMS will increase wage rates 130% of current STIIP premiums to compensate for employees paying STIIP premiums and the marginal tax rate.
