Sick Leave Accumulation and Use. Sick leave is accumulated at the rate of 4.615 hours per pay period, for a total of one hundred twenty (120) hours per fiscal year.

Sick leave is accumulated at the rate of 4.615 fourteen (14) hours per pay period, month for a total of 56-hour/week personnel and ten (10) hours per month for 40-hour/week personnel. This amounts to one hundred sixty-eight (168) hours per year for 56-hour/week employees and one hundred twenty (120) hours per fiscal yearyear for 40-hour/week personnel. Time is charged to the employee on an hour for hour basis. When a 56-hour employee is placed into a temporary 40-hour assignment, their sick leave accrual rates will remain the same.
