Common use of Sick Leave and Workers’ Compensation Board Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave and Workers’ Compensation Board. (a) Regular Employees shall be granted Sick Leave with pay of up to twelve (12) working days per year cumulative, accrued at the rate of one (1) day per month, to a maximum of one hundred and twenty (120) working days. (b) Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Employer may, at its own discretion, grant further periods of Sick Leave in special circumstances. (c) Medical certificates may be required by the Employer as proof of sickness.
