Common use of Sick Leave Calculation for Irregular Shifts Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Calculation for Irregular Shifts. For the purposes of calculating the accumulation of sick leave credits for employees who work less than five (5) days per week or work irregular daily hours, a “day’s credit” shall consist of the number of hours that are equivalent to the employee’s number of regular hours of work per week, divided by five (5)(for administrative purposes, this may be stated on a full-time hourly basis).
