SICK LEAVE PAYMENT UPON TERMINATION. Employees covered by the terms of this contract as of February 1, 1986, upon termination of employment for any reason except discharge for just cause shall be paid a sum equal to half of all accrued sick leave up to a maximum of 960 hours (payment not in excess of 480 hours). Any employee covered by this contract who starts employment on or after February 1, 1986 shall not accrue any sick leave for the purposes of payment upon termination.

  • Vacation Pay Upon Termination When an employee in the bargaining unit is terminated for any reason, he/she shall be entitled to all vacation pay earned and accumulated up to and including the effective date of the termination.

  • Payment upon Termination In the event that the City or Consultant terminates this Agreement pursuant to Section 8, the City shall compensate the Consultant for all outstanding costs and reimbursable expenses incurred for work satisfactorily completed as of the date of written notice of termination. Consultant shall maintain adequate logs and timesheets in order to verify costs incurred to that date. The City shall have no obligation to compensate Consultant for work not verified by logs or timesheets.

  • Vacation Payment on Termination An employee whose service is terminated by the Company or by resignation shall be entitled to a cash payment in lieu of an outstanding vacation allowance, calculated proportionately from July 1 marking the beginning of the 12-month period in which the vacation entitlement applies. Upon the death of an employee, his or her estate shall be entitled to the same payment. The payment will be based on:

In no event will termination relieve You of Your obligation to pay any fees payable to Us for the period prior to the effective date of termination.
