Common use of Sick Leave Termination Pay Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Termination Pay. After five (5) years of teaching experience in the District and upon voluntary termination of employment, the teacher shall receive payment for one-fourth (25%) of his/her days of accumulated and unused personal sick leave at the certified sub pay rate or $85.00 per day whichever is greater. After ten (10) years of teaching experience in the District and upon voluntary termination of employment, the teacher shall receive payment for one-half (50%) of all unused days of accumulated and unused personal sick leave at the certified sub pay rate or $85.00 per day whichever is greater.
