Common use of Sick Pay Clause in Contracts

Sick Pay. (a) The Employee shall be entitled to up to thirty (30) days per year of fully paid sick leave, against a doctor's confirmation, which leave can be accummulated for a period of up to a maximum of five (5) years; provided, however, that the Employee shall not be entitled to sick leave payment to the extent already covered by any insurance component of any plan established by or for the benefit of the Employee pursuant to section 4.1 above.
