Sick Time Incentive. Any employee who does not use any sick leave within a calendar quarter, shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time for that quarter.
Sick Time Incentive a. Bargaining unit members may elect to “cash-in” twenty- five percent (25%) of their unused sick time, paid at their hourly rate as an incentive for non-use of sick time.
b. Bargaining unit employees may “cash-in” unused sick time once a year. A designated pay period will be used each year. Each annual “cash-in” pay period will fall after April 1st and before July 1st of each year.

Sick Time Incentive. Employees that do not use any sick time within a given calendar year will be credited for one (1) additional shift (12 hours) vacation time on January 1 of the following year.
Sick Time Incentive. Any employee covered by this agreement will receive one (1) ten-hour personal day for every six months no sick time is utilized. For the purpose of this section, the six-month periods will commence on July 1st and January 1st. Any personal time accrued secondary to this section, must be used in the six months immediately following its accrual, or it will be forfeited. For the purpose of this section, sick time includes family sick time. This benefit will not be calculated for members out on IOD (Injury on Duty), however an employee that has been granted injury on Duty status by the Fire Chief and recovers and returns to full duty within 10 calendar days will not be precluded from earning this benefit.
Sick Time Incentive. Whenever a police officer has six (6) months of continuous service without having any sick time off, such officer shall be awarded eight (8) hours of compensatory time. If said police officer continues for an unbroken period of twelve (12) months, such officer shall be awarded an additional sixteen (16) hours of compensatory time. If the string remains unbroken for eighteen (18) months, the police officer will be granted an additional eight (8) hours.
