Common use of SICKNESS ABSENCE Clause in Contracts

SICKNESS ABSENCE. Absence Due to Sickness or Quarantine Prior to the Eighth Full Calendar Day of Absence 29.01 An employee having six (6) months net credited service, or more, who is absent on account of sickness or quarantine, shall be paid for continuous absence prior to the eighth full calendar day of such absence, as follows: (a) An employee with six (6) months but less than two (2) years net credited service shall be paid for that part of the absence in excess of four (4) consecutive half tours. (b) An employee with two (2) but less than four (4) years net credited service shall be paid for that part of the absence in excess of two (2) consecutive half tours. (c) In the determination of pay treatment in Subsections 29.01 (a) and (b), a return to work not exceeding two (2) half tours shall not be considered to have interrupted the continuity of the absence, nor the consecutiveness of the half tours of absence. However, for purposes of determining the eighth full calendar day of absence, any return to work shall interrupt the continuity of an absence. (d) An employee with four (4) or more years net credited service shall be paid for the full absence. (e) An employee is not entitled to any pay or other benefit provided under this Article for any day in which she is in receipt of, or entitled to, any pay or other benefit under any other provision of this Agreement. 29.02 Upon the eighth full calendar day of an absence covered under Section 29.01, such an absence shall be treated in accordance with applicable Company practices currently in effect, or as amended from time to time following notification to the Union.

SICKNESS ABSENCE. Absence Due to Sickness or Quarantine Prior to the Eighth Full Calendar Day of Absence 29.01 25.01 An employee having six (6) months net credited service, or more, who is scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week and who is absent on account of sickness or quarantine, shall be paid for continuous absence from scheduled assignments, exclusive of scheduled overtime not worked, prior to the eighth full calendar day of such absence, absence as follows: (a) An employee with six (6) months but less than two (2) four years net credited service shall be paid for that part at seventy-five percent (75%) of the absence in excess of four (4) consecutive half tours. (b) An employee with two (2) but less than four (4) years net credited service shall be paid employee’s basic rate for that part of the absence in excess of two (2) consecutive scheduled half tours.; (cb) In the determination of pay treatment in Subsections 29.01 subsection 25.01 (a) and (b), a return to work not exceeding two (2) half tours tours, shall not be considered to have interrupted the continuity of the absence, nor the consecutiveness of the half tours of absence. However, for the purposes of determining the eighth full calendar day of absence, any return to work shall interrupt the continuity of an absence.; (dc) An employee with four (4) or more years net credited service shall be paid at seventy-five percent (75%) of the employee’s basic rate for the full absence. (e) 25.02 An employee who is not entitled absent from work for part of her scheduled tour of duty, because of sickness or quarantine, shall be paid as follows: (a) if she has worked more than half her tour of duty, she shall be paid for her full tour; (b) If she has worked less than half her tour of duty, she shall be paid for her half tour. Under these conditions, she shall be paid differential and premium payments applicable to any pay her full tour or other benefit provided under this Article for any day in which she is in receipt of, or entitled to, any pay or other benefit under any other provision her half tour of this Agreementduty. 29.02 Upon 25.03 The Company shall maintain the eighth full calendar day level of an absence covered benefits provided to the employees in this Agreement under Section 29.01, such an absence the following Plans: 25.04 Any changes to benefits will be reviewed with the Union and shall be treated in accordance with applicable Company practices currently in effect, or as amended from time subject to time following notification to agreement between the Unionparties.

Absence Due to Sickness or Quarantine Prior to the Eighth Full Calendar Day of Absence 29.01 9.01 Except as otherwise provided in Section 9.02 and subject to the Company's practices, as established from time to time, the Company agrees to grant the basic rate of pay to employees absent due to their sickness or quarantine, for a continuous absence prior to the eighth full calendar day of such absence. 9.02 An employee having six (6) months net credited service, working in the Direct Marketing Associate or more, the Team Coordinator occupation who is absent on account of sickness or quarantine, shall be paid for continuous absence prior to the eighth full calendar day of such absence, as follows: (a) An employee A Direct Marketing Associate or a Team Coordinator with less than six (6) months of net credited service shall not be paid for absence prior to the eighth full calendar day. (b) A Direct Marketing Associate or a Team Coordinator with six (6) months but less than two (2) years of net credited service shall be paid for that part of the absence in excess of four (4) consecutive half tourstours of duty. (bc) An employee A Direct Marketing Associate or a Team Coordinator with two (2) but less than four (4) years of net credited service shall be paid for that part of the absence in excess of two (2) consecutive half tourstours of duty. (cd) In the determination of pay treatment in Subsections 29.01 9.02 (ab) and (bc), a return to work not exceeding two (2) half tours of duty shall not be considered to have interrupted the continuity of the absence, nor the consecutiveness of the half tours of duty of absence. However, for purposes of determining the eighth full calendar day of absence, any return to work shall interrupt the continuity of an absence. (de) An employee A Direct Marketing Associate or a Team Coordinator with four (4) or more years of net credited service shall be paid for the full absence. (e) 9.03 An employee is not entitled to any pay or other benefit provided under this Article for any day in which she he is in receipt of, or entitled to, any pay or other benefit under any other provision of this Agreement. 29.02 Upon the eighth full calendar day of an absence covered under Section 29.01, such an absence shall be treated in accordance with applicable Company practices currently in effect, or as amended from time to time following notification to the Union.

(b) A Direct Marketing Associate with six (6) months but less than two (2) years of net credited service shall be paid for that part of the absence in excess of four (4) consecutive half tours. (bc) An employee A Direct Marketing Associate with two (2) but less than four (4) years of net credited service shall be paid for that part of the absence in excess of two (2) consecutive half tours. (cd) In the determination of pay treatment in Subsections 29.01 subsections 9.02 (ab) and (bc), a return to work not exceeding two (2) half tours shall not be considered to have interrupted the continuity of the absence, nor the consecutiveness of the half tours of absence. However, for purposes of determining the eighth full calendar day of absence, any return to work shall interrupt the continuity of an absence. (de) An employee A Direct Marketing Associate with four (4) or more years of net credited service shall be paid for the full absence.
