Overtime Working Sample Clauses

Overtime Working a Operatives qualified and required to work overtime will be paid time and a half* onwards until normal starting next morning.
Overtime Working. 20.1 The Contractor shall not normally be prevented from working reasonable overtime hours on the Authority’s Premises if he so desires, provided that he obtains prior Approval and it is at no additional cost to the Authority.
Overtime Working. 4.1 Time worked in addition to 35 hours, the standard hours of the working week, shall count as overtime. Where an employee has more than one post then that person must work over 35 hours in each post per week before eligibility to overtime is appropriate. 4.2 Work in excess of the standard weekly hours should not be a regular occurrence and will be discouraged. However, where overtime is found to be unavoidable and previous approval has been given by a senior officer to whom this power has been delegated, payment shall be calculated on the following basis: (i) Only hours worked in excess of the standard weekly hours i.e. 35 hours, will be eligible for enhanced overtime rates. (ii) Part-time/ job share employees will also not receive enhanced overtime rates until the weekly hours exceed 35 hours. (iii) A minimum of 30 minutes must be worked in order to be eligible for overtime.
Overtime Working. 2.14.1. The Contractor shall not normally be prevented from working reasonable overtime hours provided that the Contractor obtains prior Approval and such work is at no additional cost to the Secretariat.
Overtime Working. Replaces Part 3, Section 2.3(a) Overtime working will be aggregated over a calendar month and paid at plain time. Officers in receipt of a basic or all inclusive salary in excess of spinal column point 28 will remain excluded from overtime payments as previously detailed in the National Conditions of Service.
Overtime Working. Any overtime arrangements must comply with the requirements of the Working Time Regulations in respect of the maximum working week; daily and weekly rest periods. Overtime premium rates are payable to employees on or up to SCP 19 (was 26) for work over thirty-seven hours per week. This excludes shift workers or ad hoc irregular working where hours average thirty-seven per week; excepting when the hours worked exceed the average in the rostered pattern. Overtime premiumrates are:- Monday to Saturday - time and half Sunday - double time. The basis for calculation is in Section 7 above. (Other forms of payment are excluded from the calculation.) The National and Local Agreements provide for the payment of overtime up to the overtime limits specified. Locally and subject to mutual agreement any overtime worked may be banked in accordance with the time banking scheme requirements to be taken as time off as an alternative to payment, provided that this is agreed in advance of work being undertaken. Overtime payments are in full settlement of the overtime worked and do not attract other forms of premium payments. For employees paid on SCP 20 (was 27) and above, hours worked above thirty-seven may be accumulated within banked time schemes or as Time off in Lieu (TOIL). In exceptional circumstances Chief Officers may authorise overtime payments to be made at plain time rates based on the annual salary to employees between SCP 20 (was 27) and SCP 37 (was 43). No overtime payments will be made to employees on SCP 44 (was 38) and above (with the exception of emergency call out where plain time payments can be made up to SCP 43 (was 49).

(b) First 4 hours worked on Saturday to be paid at time and a half*, and all hours worked thereafter until starting time on Monday morning shall be paid at double time.* (c) Where operatives are asked to work overtime beyond 7.00 pm, but not for all night, they are to take half an hour for tea, not to be paid for. (d) If required to work all night, employees are to have breaks for meals (not to be paid for) by mutual arrangement with the employer. (e) Any operative working one day and one night consecutively shall not work for the ensuing day of 8-6 hours (as appropriate) which shall be paid at plain time rates. (f) Where operatives are asked to work night shift only, they shall be paid at the rate of time and a half.*
Overtime Working. You may be required to work additional hours to meet the needs of your role. You will not be eligible to receive payment for overtime in accordance with the Company’s Overtime Policy.
Overtime WorkingIn the event that one or more of the above Service Recovery Arrangements is not effective and\or available, overtime working will be undertaken to ensure completion of the daily task\round . Overtime will only be payable after the contractual daily hours have been worked

Travel time required by the Employer during normal work hours from one work site to another or travel time prior to normal work hours to a different work location that is greater than the employee’s normal home-to-work travel time and all travel in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws; 3.   • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.
