Common use of SIGN-UPS Clause in Contracts

SIGN-UPS. The Employer shall have a minimum of one (1) sign-up per year, to take effect the first Sunday in March, in the Fleet Services Department, to allow an employee to bid for his/her specific shift assignment. If the Union determines seniority rights of members have been violated by the sign-up procedure used by the Employer, the Union may call for one (1) additional sign-up per contract year.
