SMOKE ALARM. (a) In this clause, smoke alarm refers to a smoke alarm as referred to in the Smoke Alarm Requirement Provision,
SMOKE ALARM. Resident shall keep smoke alarm(s) and fire extinguisher (if provided) in working order including replacing the battery as needed. Resident accepts any liability associated with the use and upkeep of all such devises and understands how to and agrees to test same.
SMOKE ALARM. (a) In this clause “approved smoke alarm” refers to a smoke alarm as referred to in the Building Code of Australia.
SMOKE ALARM. The property is equipped with a smoke alarm(s), approved, and listed by the State Fire Marshal. The alarm(s) was (were) tested and working properly at the time of initial occupancy as demonstrated by the Department’s agent. The Department’s agent explained the operation of the alarm(s) to the Tenant. The Tenant assumes the responsibility to test the alarm(s) for proper operation at least once a week. The Tenant will report, in writing, any malfunction of the alarm(s) to the Department.
SMOKE ALARM. Tenant shall immediately report any malfunctions or failures of the smoke alarm to Landlord.
SMOKE ALARM. There is a 2 Zone fire detection in the house, if the alarm sounds in a non emergency (there is no fire) to silence it the instructions to deactivate it are shown below and bathrooms. Please leave the room as you found it and if using bedding provided please wash.

SMOKE ALARM. The Landlord acknowledges that unless other legislation requires a higher standard of fire warning, a minimum of one smoke alarm per floor should be provided at The Property. If the Landlord fails to provide smoke detectors the Agent accepts no liability or responsibility for any claims of loss or injury or compensation relating to the tenant, contractor or visitor to the property.
