Sovereign Rights. The lines described in Article 3 of this Agreement shall be the maritime boundary between the areas referred to in Article 3 in which Parties, in accordance with international law and Article 56 of UNCLOS shall exercise their sovereignty rights or jurisdiction.

Sovereign Rights. 2.6 Article 5 of the Agreement states that the geographical coordinates of points in Article 3 will be the basis for the delimitation of the EEZ territory within which the respective Parties will exercise their sovereign rights pursuant to Article 56 of UNCLOS. Article 56 of UNCLOS confers rights, jurisdiction and duties of the coastal State within their respective EEZ territory.
Sovereign Rights. The Developer and its successors, and assigns acknowledge that this Declaration does not obligate the County, the City and the CRA in any manner other than as specifically set forth herein. The County, the City, and the CRA shall not be liable to any other person for the exercise of its governmental authority, regulatory powers, and/or police powers. The County, the City and the CRA retain all of their sovereign prerogatives and rights under Florida laws, and shall in no way be stopped or otherwise prevented from withholding or refusing to issue any approvals of applications, or be liable for same, or to grant any approvals of applications for building, zoning, planning or development under present or future laws and ordinances of whatever nature.

  • Sovereign Immunity The State reserves all immunities, defenses, rights or actions arising out of the State’s sovereign status or under the Eleventh Amendment to the United States Constitution. No waiver of the State’s immunities, defenses, rights or actions shall be implied or otherwise deemed to exist by reason of the State’s entry into this Agreement.

  • Step-In Rights If the Contractor is in material breach of its obligation to perform any of the services under the Contract and fails to remedy such breach within ten (10) days after written notice of the breach from the Department, the Department, at its sole discretion, shall have the right to “step-in” (i.e. perform the work itself) or hire another contractor to perform these services. Contractor shall be liable to the Department for any fees or expenses that the Department may incur in exercising its step-in rights or securing a substitute provider to assume completion of those services.

  • License Rights The Recipient must provide a license to its “subject data” to the Federal Government, which license is: (a) Royalty-free, (b) Non-exclusive, and (c) Irrevocable, (2) Uses. The Federal Government’s license must permit the Federal Government to take the following actions provided those actions are taken for Federal Government purposes: (a) Reproduce the subject data, (b) Publish the subject data, (c) Otherwise use the subject data, and (d) Permit other entities or individuals to use the subject data, and
