Special Assistance. 6:1.1 When in the judgment of an employee, a student requires the attention of the principal, assistant principal, counselor, psychologist, or other specialist, the employee shall inform the principal or his/her designee. The principal or his/her designee will assess the information relayed and confer with the teacher or other appropriate staff as necessary. When the employee advises the principal or his/her designee in writing of the matter, the principal or his/her designee shall advise the employee in writing of the disposition of the matter. If, in the judgment of the principal or his/her designee a conference is desirable, he/she shall arrange within a reasonable time for a meeting among the appropriate parties to discuss the problem and for a resolution to be made by the administration.
