Common use of Special Assistance Clause in Contracts

Special Assistance. 8:1.1 When in the judgment of an employee a student requires the attention of the principal, assistant principal, counselor, psychologist, or other specialist, the employee shall inform the principal or his/her designee. The principal or his/her designee will assess the information relayed and confer with the teacher or other appropriate staff as necessary. When the employee advises the principal or his/her designee in writing of the matter, the principal or designee shall advise the employee in writing of the disposition of the matter. If in the judgment of the principal/designee and/or the teacher, a conference is desirable, the principal/designee and/or the teacher shall arrange, within five (5) working days, for a meeting among the appropriate parties to discuss the problem and to decide upon appropriate actions for its resolution.
