SPECIAL EDUCATION AND ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS WORKLOAD. The District recognizes the need for appropriate special programs in order to meet the needs of students with disabilities, gifted and other special categories of students. Special programs are being provided in accordance with State laws and regulations, District policy and procedures, District instructional goals and objectives and available staff, financial and other resources. The administration works with the staff, community and appropriate agencies to develop, implement and regularly evaluate these programs.
