Special knowledge and Skills. An employee at Grade 1 shall be competent to carry out the broad range of domestic and housekeeping duties and competent to carry out simple personal care tasks relevant to assisting clients to maintain their independence in their own homes. This employee must possess relevant skill and competence to perform such tasks. Where the employee does not possess such skills and competence, further training may be provided.
