Common use of SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS; RESOURCE ASSISTANTS Clause in Contracts

SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS; RESOURCE ASSISTANTS. A. The parties agree to abide by all State and/or Federal mandates as it relates to students with special needs. Special attention will be given to reducing class size where special students are placed in a regular classroom. B. The Board will attempt to make a private room(s) available within each building for use by the School Psychologists, School Social Workers and Speech Therapists. C. The Board will also make a telephone available to the School Psychologists, School Social Workers and Speech Therapists for confidential use in the performance of their duties.
