Common use of Staff Meeting Clause in Contracts

Staff Meeting. Staff meetings wherever held, shall be considered as time worked and compensated for as such, except when they are dinner meetings at which attendance by an employee is on a voluntary basis. Such dinner meetings in excess of two (2) during each contract year shall be considered as time worked and paid for accordingly. When dinner meetings are called a notice will be posted indicating that the meetings are voluntary. A copy of the dinner meeting notice will be faxed to the Union office at time of posting.
