Common use of Staff Planning Committee Clause in Contracts

Staff Planning Committee. With respect to the development of any plan that will directly cause or result in the layoff, loss of seniority or service to employees in the bargaining unit, the Unit Chairperson shall be involved in the planning process and the staff planning committee will be activated. Two (2) employee representatives and two (2) OPTIONS’ representatives shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. The Committee shall determine its own procedures including whether or not other person(s) should attend a particular meeting of the Committee because of the agenda item(s) to be discussed.
