Standard Day. For the purposes of monetary benefits for time not worked, a standard day shall be defined as the standard work week hours for that classification (i.e., non-exempt 35 hours, or 37.5 hours, or 40 hours, or exempt a minimum of 37.5 hours) divided by 5. For example, 35 hours per week divided by 5 equals a standard day of 7 hours. This is pro- rated for part-time employees (e.g., 24 hours per week divided by 5 equals 4.8 hours as a day).
