Standby Shift. In order to provide emergency service during evenings, weekends, and holidays, IBEW Local 1245 agrees that employees shall make themselves available to respond to emergency calls. The employee scheduled for standby shall receive five hundred fifty dollars ($550) for each standby shift. A standby shift is a one-week period that begins at the end of the employee’s Thursday shift. An employee on standby receives an additional eight (8) hours of compensatory time off at their regular rate of pay when on standby on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Standby Shift. In order to provide emergency service during evenings, weekends, and holidays, Teamsters agrees that Maintenance Workers (I, II and Leads), Equipment Mechanics, Utility Lineworkers, Utility Technicians I and II, and Electricians shall make themselves available to respond to emergency calls. The employee scheduled for primary standby shall receive three hundred dollars ($300) for each primary standby shift. The employee scheduled for secondary standby shall receive two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) for each secondary standby shift. A standby shift is a one-week period that begins at the end of the employee’s Friday shift. The employee scheduled for “holiday secondary standby” shall receive one- seventh (1/7th) of the secondary standby weekly rate. Holiday secondary standby is when a third Maintenance Worker (I, II and Lead) or Electrician has been assigned standby duty on a holiday provided to full-time employees as outlined within this collective bargaining agreement (excludes floating holidays). An employee on standby receives an additional eight (8) hours of compensatory time off at their regular rate of pay when on standby on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

  • Standby Time All standby time shall be considered as regular hours worked and shall be compensated on a straight time or overtime basis as are other hours worked under this Agreement.

  • Standby An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for that particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of $3.30 per hour for all hours on standby.   • Standby Pay 19.01 When an Employee is designated to be immediately available to return to work during a period in which they are not on regular duty, the Employee shall be paid the amount of one-half (½) hours’ pay at their regular rate for each four (4) hours on standby or major portion thereof on a day that is not a paid holiday. For standby on a paid holiday, the payment shall be one (1) hours’ pay at the regular rate for each four (4) hours on standby or major portion thereof.

  • Standby Letter of Credit To ensure payment by Seller of all costs and expenses incurred by Company (i) in excess of the Total Estimated Interconnection Cost paid in connection with the Company-Owned Interconnection Facilities to be provided and/or constructed by Company described in Section 3 (Seller Payment To Company for Company-Owned Interconnection Facilities and Review Of Facility) of this Attachment G (Company-Owned Interconnection Facilities), and (ii) if applicable, in excess of the Total Estimated Relocation Costs paid in connection with the relocation of the Company-Owned Interconnection Facilities as provided in Section 5 (Relocation of Company-Owned Interconnection Facilities) of this Attachment G (Company-Owned Interconnection Facilities), Seller shall obtain an Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit with no Documentary Requirement ("Standby Letter of Credit") in accordance with the requirements of Section 6(b) (Requirements of the Standby Letter of Credit) of this Attachment G (Company-Owned Interconnection Facilities), wherein Company shall receive payment from the bank upon request by Company.

  • Standby Duty (a) An employee shall be on standby duty when required to be available for work outside his/her normal working hours, and subject to restrictions consistent with the FLSA which would prevent the employee from using the time while on standby duty effectively for the employee’s own purposes.

  • Standby and Call In (a) An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby outside her or his regularly scheduled working hours shall receive standby pay in the amount of three dollars and thirty cents ($3.30) per hour for the period of standby scheduled by the Employer. Where such standby duty falls on a weekend or paid holiday, the employee shall receive standby pay in the amount of four dollars and ninety cents ($4.90) per hour. Standby pay shall, however, cease where the employee is called in to work.

  • Standby Provisions (a) Where regular employees are required to standby to be called for duty under conditions which restrict their normal off-duty activities, they shall be compensated at straight-time in the proportion of one (1) hour's pay for each three (3) hours' standby. An employee designated for standby shall be immediately available for duty during the period of standby at a known telephone number. No standby payment shall be made if an employee is unable to be contacted or to report for duty when required. The provisions of this clause do not apply to part-time employees who are not assigned a regular working schedule and who are normally required to work whenever called.

  • Agency Shop It is mutually agreed by the parties that this Unit is an agency shop Unit. It is the intent of the parties that the agency shop provisions in the Memorandum of Understanding comply with applicable state law (Government Code Section 3502.5).

  • Supplementary Card a card which is issued by the Bank to the client and/or other person nominated by the client and which is linked to the existing card account of the client;

  • International Shopping Goods estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of international shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.
